"Jenni is an individual with an ability to face a problem that needs solving, and find a solution. In instances where the problem is outside her wheelhouse, she researches and examines the problem itself and the various potential solutions. This talent will lend itself well to her time on the school board. Often times, school board members are given several pages worth of district policy to analyze and update to ensure the district is in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. These can have various topics that drastically differ from any one person’s experience or knowledge. Jenni is someone that we can count on to read, understand, and intelligently discuss all policies that affect our students, educators, and community. Jenni’s high level of intelligence is matched with as high of a level of empathy. She’s kind hearted, warm, and compassionate. She’s a person you can sit down with and share personal struggles and triumphs alike while receiving only understanding and sweetness. Jenni’s empathetic nature will serve well on our school board since many policies directly affect us personally as parents or MCUSD staff. Her calm and warm presence will be welcomed on the school board during meetings when difficult topics and policies are being discussed. We can trust her to hear all sides with an open heart and mind.
