Jenni Moore
for MCUSD District 5

     I am a mother, grandmother, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and a longtime Mariposa resident. Mariposa is where I raised my children, and where two of my three grandchildren live. This gives me a vested interest in ensuring that school funding goes toward our kids’ education. A vote for me is a vote for empathy, integrity, and prioritizing fiscal responsibility with taxpayer funding.

     I have experience with being part of the development and facilitation of a popular mentoring program for children, teens, their families, and schools across Mariposa County. After completing my MSW degree through CSU Fresno, I worked in Behavioral Health with both children and adults. 

​

     As an LCSW and trauma therapist, I understand that people have a need for safety and stability to learn. Empathy and inclusion of all children through careful consideration of board policy wording is necessary both morally and legally. This requires being reflective of the legal vetting that goes into the proposed policies provided by the California School Board Association (CSBA), before making changes that could result in costly legal battles.
